Care

A Kase Study in Longevity.

We design our pieces to be lived in—but a little extra care goes a long way in preserving their beauty and wearability. Follow these simple steps to keep your Kase Study jewelry looking iconic for the long haul.

General Care Tips

  • Remove jewelry before sleeping, showering, swimming, or working out
  • Avoid contact with lotions, perfumes, hair products, and household cleaners
  • Wipe pieces gently with a soft, dry cloth after each wear to remove oils and residue
  • Store your jewelry in a dry, cool place—ideally in its original pouch or box

Material-Specific Care

Gold- or Silver-Plated Jewelry

Our plated pieces are made from a base metal (like brass or copper) with a layer of 14k gold, platinum, or rhodium. To extend the life of the plating:

  • Limit exposure to water and moisture
  • Avoid stacking with textured or abrasive surfaces that may cause friction
  • Clean with a dry microfiber or polishing cloth—never with harsh chemicals

Stainless Steel

Durable, tarnish-resistant, and easy to maintain. Just wipe clean with a soft cloth.  Plated stainless pieces should still be stored carefully to protect the finish.

Solid Gold (10k or 14k)

Designed to last forever. Clean with warm soapy water and a soft toothbrush, then pat dry with a soft cloth.

Avoid ultrasonic cleaners unless directed by a jeweler.

Gemstones / Enamel Accents

Avoid prolonged sun exposure, heat, and sudden impact. Clean with a damp cloth—never soak or use abrasive materials.

Storage Tips

  • Store each piece separately to avoid tangling and scratching
  • Use anti-tarnish strips or airtight bags for longer-term storage
  • Traveling? Keep your jewelry in a soft pouch or protective case
